Memories take you back in times,
Of the good, bad, happiness, and joy,
Portraits of the present and past to limn,
With shades of color and grey of moi.
Sweet memories and a few regrets,
If you had a time machine,
Walking slowly through time like egrets,
Going back years fifteen.
Days lived with little care,
Of tomorrow, each day filled with laughter,
Time flies as the past unpairs.
If you had the time machine,
To go back and forth in time,
What would you fix and beget,
Would it remind you of your purpose and aim?
Would you change your life’s tenets?
