Incantations

All in a day’s work,

No magic in the mundane,

Toiled in the murk,

What’s the purpose of life on this plane?

Years of hard work and yearning,

Wisdom knocked with a spell,

An idea, an epiphany of the undoing,

ring the bell!!ring the bell!

Swirl of passion risen,

Sans age, sans glory,

With gung-ho and all brazen,

What will be your new story?

A new dawn, a new tune,

Life”s rhythm changed too soon,

Without a stitch of worry,

Will it lead to fortune or disarray,

All doubts and dilemmas burried,

With magical incantations everyday,

To look at the silver lining,

To keep going and stop whining,

With or without the sun shining,

Even on a rainy day, when hope seems dim,

And you do not know to sink or swim,

Amass all inner strength if you will,

Life will never come to a standstill.
