Essence

essence vaishali adwant poetry

Deep pain came looking for lost love,

Walking through charred terrains,

Like reality didn’t matter,

The mind chatters,

If only love were easy and plane,

Whatever each other had would be enough.

If only just enough took a deep dive,

Without madness it wouldn’t survive,

His essence, when everything seemed dead wrong,

No reason to love again, feeling high strung,

Unspoken feelings, sinking deeper in quagmire,

Will he pull you back and clean up all that mired?

A deep lingering feeling,

Overlooking bitter clashes,

You go about your life not knowing,

Sweet memories come back in flashes,

Stuck inside without breaking or healing.
